Bob's Area is the furthest hike to reach in the Deception Crags climbing area but it's well worth the effort. At an elevation of 2950 feet the views are sweet and there's a great selection of climbing routes. Getting to Bob's Area can be tricky if you never been there before. There are five climbing walls in Bob's area; Chainsaw, Peannacle, Lost Resort, Alpinia, Presto Palace, Slumbersome Ridge, The Stein.
Peannacle wall is a great place to start if
you've never been to Bob's area. If you climbed there before and you think a lot
of your climbing ability then Lost
Resort is a must visit.
