The Far Side climbing area is at the end of the Exit-38 road. It offers a wide range of climbs from overhanging advanced to easier slab routes. Unlike the Deception and Mt Washington area, most of the walls face south and receive more sunshine making it ideal for early spring and late fall climbing. There are six separate climbing areas at Far Side: Overhaul, Gritscone, Gun Show, Interstate Park, Winter Block, and Neverland. Gritscone and Interstate Park offer the best beginning level climbs (5.5 – 5.8), Gun Show and Neverland have several multi-pitch routes, and Overhaul has to most difficult routes.
